ReplyDeleteI listened to and enjoyed all of these pieces in hopes that I would find a piece in which I felt would replace my favorite Jazz musician Mr. Thelonious Monk. The piece off of his Blue Monk album that is posted above is good but it does not compare to Round About Midnight. To me that is his greatest piece. What makes Mr. Monk better and different from the rest is the fact that he plays off key and is never on beat on any of his works, but still has a great sound and feeling to all of his works.
ReplyDeleteI listened to majority of the pieces and i think Dizzy Gillespie had the most feeling, i liked his piece better.
